GARY LEWIS RACING ANNOUNCES NEW 2001 PARTNERSHIP

Gary Lewis Racing is very excited to announce a new partnership for the 2001 season between Gary Lewis Racing Enterprises and Jones Soda Company's Whoop-Ass Energy Drink.  Whoop-Ass, the popular new energy drink from alternative soda company, Jones Soda Company contains less caffeine that 1 cup of coffee, therefore beating out the other energy drinks on the market by providing energy and an alert state of being through essential vitamins and minerals instead.  Whoop-Ass is the Official Energy Drink of the driver and pit crew of the entire Gary Lewis Racing team.

"Whoop-Ass gives me the boost I need before I hop in the #73 and whoop some ass" says Gary Lewis, 3-time NASCAR Champion.  All of the members of the Gary Lewis Racing team can be found consuming Whoop-Ass for the energy they need on race day as well.  Jones Soda Company has generously agreed to not only provide support to the Gary Lewis Racing team, but also to donate many cases of Whoop-Ass to be given away to #73 fans at every race throughout the season.  In addition to Whoop-Ass Energy Drink, Jones Soda Company has supplied Whoop-Ass T-Shirts, stickers and decals, inflatables and many other fun items for crew members and fans to enjoy throughout the season. Jones Soda Company plans to participate at several Gary Lewis Racing Fan Appreciation events throughout the season; and Gary Lewis plans to participate in numerous product launch parties, promotional events and print ads for Jones Soda Company in return.  "We really feel this is a win-win situation for Jones Soda Co." says Donnie Richardson, the Northwest Whoop-Ass Brand Sales/Manager and MotorSports Liaison for Jones Soda Company.  "Gary is a proven champion, on and off the track.  There isn't any other driver I would want to represent our product for Jones Soda Co. Gary has proven he can really whoop some ass, and we feel that NASCAR racing is a perfect market for our product".  The partnership hit a homerun right out of the park with the first at-bat as Gary Lewis captured a stunning win in front of a hometown crowd last Saturday night during the NASCAR Raybestos Brakes Northwest Series Season Opener.  Fans roared and sponsors glowed as Gary jumped out of the #73 in the winner's circle following a stupendous smoke-show and proclaimed for all to hear "I guess we really opened a can of Whoop-Ass on 'em!".  Whoop-Ass Energy Drink, by Jones Soda Company- proud new sponsor of the Gary Lewis Racing Enterprises #73 Sign Factory USA/Whoop-Ass Energy Drink Pontiac.
